Local Groups

These groups enable teachers to meet, share good practice in RE and support one another over a cup of tea and a piece of cake! Meetings are run by a mix of teachers, RE advisers, school improvement officers or independent consultants. Some Local Groups meet within their key stages, whilst others are cross-phase. There are also Local Groups for teachers of children with special educational needs. The engagement offered by these groups can be invaluable to teachers who feel isolated, and the networks provide support to all teachers who come along.

RE Hubs works alongside AREIAC and NATRE to support all those who lead Local Groups.
