Karenza Passmore
North East - RE Hubs Lead
As the former Director of the North East Religious Learning Resources Centre, Karenza has been supporting and resourcing the teaching of RE, religious literacy and learning for almost 30 years across the North East of England.
Karenza's particular passion is using resources to develop teaching and learning: working to raise the confidence and skills of teachers, leaders and young people in a wide variety of educational, religious and non-religious contexts from early years to ITT and postgraduate research. She is currently working to develop the infrastructure for Religious Education in the North East of England.
Karenza is a North East AREIAC group member. She has been a Governor and MAT Trustee in North East schools. Her areas of academic and practical interest are eclectic. Current projects include producing educational films that support RE in ITT and interfaith dialogue.
