RE Hubs East Anglia Regional Lead Job Vacancy

Purpose:

·        To build relationships with advisers, dioceses, universities, SACREs, LAs, governors, MATs & Federation RE leads, teaching school hubs and so on

·        To act as conduit between the regional providers of research, CPD, resources, places of worship and so on for the benefit of all stakeholders

·        To provide intelligence to the Lead Director for RE Hubs

·        To build up a national picture of provision

Reports to: Lead Director for RE Hubs

Working with: Fellow RE Hub Leads 9 DfE Regions and the nation of Wales, Regional Hubs Marketing Officer & NATRE local group officer

Days per year: 24 days per annum (approximately 2 days per month)

Term: 8 months contract running from January 2026–August 2026 (after this being a 12-month contract annually from Sept-August)

Day rate: £364.58 per day / £8,750 per annum

Location: Working from home within East Anglia. Travel, for example, to regional events and national training.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

·        Build relationships through meetings with stakeholders such as Advisers, Dioceses, Universities, SACREs, LAs, Governors, MATs, Teaching School Hubs and so on in your region

·        Act as a conduit between the regional providers of CPD, research, resources, and places of worship providing opportunities for those groups to network.

·        Intentionally seek out new providers of and networking opportunities for CPD, research, resource and support providers within your region

·        Update and share information of national and regional developments, funded project opportunities and best practice across your region through the RE Hubs website

·        Promote the RE Hubs website to regional providers of CPD, research, resources, support networks and places of worship and encourage them to promote their events, training and resources on the website

·        Work with the RE Hubs Marketing Officer to manage the capture of information that will be hosted on the RE Hubs website for your region

·        Work with the RE Hubs Marketing Officer to design and implement a multi-channel supportive regional digital communication

·        Share best practice with the rest of the RE Hubs team, to support others in their region and nationally

·        Work with the Lead Director for RE Hubs on monitoring, evaluation and reporting expectations

·        Identify regional/national funders that would be interested in investing in the RE Hubs work and assist Lead director in making applications

·        Representing RE Hubs at national conferences and conversations

·        Having responsibility with the wider team for specific projects

  

Key Experience:

·        Proven track record of regional communications, co-ordination and management

·        Proven track record of presenting well with a range of stakeholders in public

·        Proven track record of RE/Religion and Worldviews leadership at a regional level

·        Proven track record in effective work/co-ordination across multiple organisations

·        Proven track record of working with external stakeholders and relationship management

·        Experience of planning and delivering projects on time and meeting set objectives

·        Demonstrable track record of networking across the breadth of the RE/Religion and Worldviews community including key national stakeholders

·        Current and frequent user of social media channels
